Refund policy
We want you to be confident in what you order. Here's how returns work at Yardline Co.
Standard return window
Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
What's returnable
- New, unused items in original packaging
- Items with no signs of installation or use
- Items returned with all original components, hardware, and documentation
What's not returnable
- Custom and made-to-order items (most pergolas, certain saunas, configured outdoor kitchens). These are produced specifically for your order and cannot be resold.
- Installed items. Once a product is installed, it's no longer returnable as new.
- Items damaged after delivery by misuse, improper installation, or weather exposure outside design tolerances.
- Personal-use accessories like cushions, towels, or items in direct skin/use contact, for sanitary reasons.
Return shipping & restocking
- Defective or damaged in transit: full refund. We cover return shipping.
- Buyer's remorse / change of mind: customer is responsible for return freight, plus a 15-25% restocking fee depending on the manufacturer's terms. The restocking fee covers freight and handling costs the manufacturer charges us.
How to start a return
- Email admin@yardlineco.com with your order number and reason for return. Photos help.
- We'll review and issue a Return Authorization (RA) with shipping instructions.
- Ship the item back per the RA instructions, freight prepaid for buyer's-remorse returns.
- Once received and inspected by the manufacturer, refund issues to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Please don't return items without an RA. Returns sent without authorization may be refused or held without refund.
Damaged in transit
If your item arrives damaged, please don't sign for it as "received in good condition." Note the damage on the delivery receipt, photograph everything, and email us within 48 hours. We handle the carrier claim and replacement at no cost to you. See our Shipping policy for full damage protocol.
Items from our Essentials section
Products in our Essentials section (Sun Living Family Collections) are sold and shipped by Amazon, not Yardline Co. We earn a small commission when you buy through our affiliate links, but the transaction is between you and Amazon — Amazon's return policy applies, not ours.
For returns or issues with these items, please contact Amazon directly through your order in your Amazon account.
